TRILUX Medical sees itself as a connecting link between science and practice. One of our important tasks in this respect is the transfer of knowledge between those who teach and those who learn, between researchers and engineers. Therefore we are engaged in study rooms, in universities and also in our world of experience for practicians, the TRILUX Medical Cube.
OPIC Vienna - High quality operating theatre construction with the Vienna Campus Technical University
The FH Campus Wien is setting up a high-tech operating theatre at the university site together with various companies from the health sector and the KAV hospitals association. The unusual research infrastructure enables both proven and new medical, air conditioning/cooling and information technology to be tested, evaluated and further developed. This unique cross-discipline research environment is subsidised with around 530,000 euros from the Vienna economic agency. The OPIC-Project ("Operationssaal-Innovations Center") is expected to run till end of 2020.
TRILUX Medical is also contributing to initial device equipment for the operating theatre with Turnkey Solutions for rooms in hospitals - triathlon®, the OR Integration System Paramon®, as well as Aurinio Wave® reLED OR Lights and the ceiling supply systems IS 500 OP and Medidrant® CSS.

True to the slogan "Engineering Health" TRILUX Medical tries to identify how to meet the future needs of the user with meaningful innovations.
"Studies as near to practice as possible" is the concept behind the Studienhospital Münster. The aim of the project is to prepare students for their professional life under realistic conditions. TRILUX Medical is one of the sponsors for the perfectly equipped normal and intensive care rooms.
Research OR Gießen
How can operating rooms be ventilated free of germs? How do modern LED OR-lights effect the air flow of ventilation systems? These are the questions being tackled by researchers at the University of Applied Sciences Gießen-Friedberg, and TRILUX Medical is participating in this project.
