Many years of know-how for efficient medical technology

A century of experience has been gathered to form TRILUX Medical. With light, luminaires and technology in general and specifically for OR, intensive and normal care – a world that has been our domain since the 1960's, in close cooperation with doctors and care personnel.

The milestones

1963 TRILUX develops the first fully functional supply system for patient rooms for its product spectrum.
1965 At the trade fair for sanatorium requirements in Dortmund TRILUX exhibits with the company of Zettler.
1969 The portfolio is expanded with a modular installation system for intensive care rooms, which is successfully presented at INTERHOSPITAL in Hanover.
1970 Surface-mounted and recessed lights follow for operating and other cleanrooms.
1978 TRILUX inaugurates its first show room for medical technology.
1986 The new 5642 supply unit is launched into the market for which a CAD/CIM system was developed and programmed by TRILUX for the first time.
1988 TRILUX has already equipped 250,000 bed-places with medical supply systems.
1994 Management and production of medical technology products is transferred to “Plant II” in Huettenstrasse.
2006 TRILUX expands its product portfolio with LED and halogen Aurinio OR lights.
2009 The TRILUX Medical Cube is opened.
2010 The TX NavigatOR is shown at MEDICA. It complements the OR system portfolio with telemedicine.
2011 TRILUX Medical Technology becomes independent: TRILUX Medical GmbH & Co. KG.
2012 TRILUX Medical revolutionises the market by combining reflector and LED technology in one OR light.
2016 The innovative OR Integration System Paramon® replaces TX NavigatOR. TRILUX Medical breaks new ground in telemedicine and expands its product portfolio with a high-end performance system.
